The Platform
Aether's prediction engine, replay machinery, and proof court are not crypto-specific. Each market is a plug-in: a target tape, a settlement instrument, a feature family, and a buyer. The verification spine — replay before belief, receipts on every claim, capability earned through gates — ports unchanged.
Concept illustration of the platform model — not a product screenshot. Bright nodes: active or next; dim nodes: chartered roadmap.
Genesis
A 24/7 tape with violent regime changes and no closing bell is the hardest place to keep a proof discipline honest. That is why it went first. 13 years of history, 14.16M price bars across two independent exchanges (bitfinex + bitstamp), cross-validated, full replay verification. A locked forward paper record has accrued since 2026-07-19: 524 rows across 41 observed days through 2026-08-29, 387 already resolved — size and span only, not a hit rate. No graded live profit-and-loss record exists.
Next Three
Each vertical was scored on replay depth (ten-plus years of observations), horizon fit for 1–30-day calibrated calls, data cost, and how much of the existing machinery ports intact.
The Twelve
Two candidates were evaluated and held off the roadmap on the evidence: prediction-market venues (conceptually perfect, but their tapes begin in 2020–2021 — too young for our replay standard) and real-estate indices (monthly observations cannot support 1–30-day calls). Publishing why something does not qualify is the same discipline as proving why something does.
Expansion Infrastructure
Every subsystem shipped for the crypto oracle was deliberately built market-agnostic, so vertical two inherits it instead of rebuilding it. What looks like one market's product is the platform's chassis, assembled and battle-tested where the tape is hardest.
All four exist today and run in the Genesis lane. Porting cost per new vertical is measured in adapters and data contracts — not in rebuilt infrastructure.
The Watchlist
The same screen that ranked the twelve — a decades-deep replayable tape, natural 1–30-day horizons, lawful low-cost data — keeps finding markets with real fit. These passed the screen and wait their turn; none is chartered yet, and saying so plainly is the house style.
Watchlist entries are screened candidates, not chartered research and not promises. Each would enter the roadmap only through the same scoring and proof gates as the twelve.
Business Shape
Business shapes describe the roadmap's intended models. Aether is pre-revenue; no product is launched or sold today.
